Brief Answer: Antibiotic creams and perineal hygiene Detailed Answer: Hello there, Thanks for writing to HCM, The swelling in the perineal region [in between anus and vagina] is commonly due to inflamed sebaceous cysts, due to underlying bacterial infections. Simple vaginal and perineal hygiene by washing the region with soap and hot water (or antiseptic lotions) after returning from toilet helps the condition. Also i advise the use of antibiotic creams like Neosporin (combination of broad spectrum antibiotics) reduce the swelling gradually. Hope helped your query, Feel free to contact for future queries. Take care.
