Question: I have a 6 yrs old grand daughter who has a swollen right eye with pain when closing. I tried washing the eye and warm compress. no redness no injury. photo attached

The photo shows hordeolum of eyelid. This is caused by infection and is common in children.
This requires treatment by the use of antibiotic eye drops like Moxifloxacin eye drops.
