Question: I have tenderness on my left side groin area. Feels like there might be a little swelling/lump there as well. Sensitive when I push on it.

Your symptoms are most likely caused by an inguinal hernia. Especially if the pain gets more intense when standing and coughing, lifting heavy objects. The lump can get less visible while lying down.
