Brief Answer:
Where is the pain?
Detailed Answer:
Hi.
Thanks for your query.
Read and understood your history and understood your query.
May I please know where exactly is the pain?
What are the other symptoms like sweating, palpitation or radiation to other parts or so?
What is the indications of taking antibiotic?
Antibiotic causing such pain is not known as most of the capsules or tablets get dissolved. or pushed down by saliva.
If you have chest pain, you have to go to ER and get EKG and other investigations.
Please give me feedback so that we can discuss further and yet not get late.
In the meantime you may take a PPI like Omeprazole and antacid if you have.

It hurts at back of my throat, just about the point you swallow. Maybe I burned my throat or esophagus if the pill sat there without dissolving well? It was a doxycycline tablet.
Brief Answer:
May be pre-existing problem.
Detailed Answer:
Thanks for your feedback.
Understood that it hurts at the back of the of the throat just about the point you swallow. The pill can not really get stuck here as you would know immediately and would not allow you to sleep without swallowing more water or so.
It is possible that there was pre-existing pharyngitis which one gets more feeling always in the morning the moment you get up.
I would suggest you to get examined by a Doctor preferably an ENT (if possible) to get the correct diagnosis and get a proper treatment.
I hope this answer helps you.
