Question: Hi Dr., I have been in pelvic floor pt for over a year as I get tight pelvic muscles from stress. I also got pain around my tailbone. I emailed my pt today and will see her this week. But just anxious to know something. I have been feeling good, although I get the occasional muscle tightness. It's really embarrassing to admit, but I squeezed my thigh muscles together while rocking back and forth. The sensation felt good. But now I am very worried my muscles are in spasm again and I am feeling tightness and pain around my tailbone. My whole body feels extra alert and jittery. Should I be alarmed? Is this something that can go away with relaxation. Maybe the guilt, the shame, and worry cause me more pain? Scared and upset! Thanks! XXXXXXX
