Posted on Tue, 3 Oct 2017
Question: I have a strange sensation on left side of my head which feels like something "crawling" or tingling under my skin just above my jaw and around my ear. Small amount of pain. Almost feels like a bug or spider crawling. It is not constant but happens quite often. Appreciate any suggestions.

Brief Answer:
Increase dose of gabapentin

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
I have gone through your question and understand your concern.
One possibility may be trigeminal neuralgia or neuropathy.
You can get examined by a neurologist.
Is there any facial swelling, ear discharge, hearing loss, skin eruption over same side?
Any other weakness, visual loss, facial deviation, speech changes or deglutination difficulties?
You can increase the dose of gabapentin for relief.
Hope you found the answer helpful.
