What Causes Tingling Sensation And Weakness In Hands And Feet?
Question: I've been here time and time again. Lately, I feel like I have issues with my nervous system. I don't know and I don't want to self-diagnose here. I feel a sensation in my hands, which is tingling and weakness, as well in my feet. I'm just very aware of my fingers. At the same time, my mouth feels very weird. At times I feel like I'm not going to be able to talk when I open my mouth, like I'm going to trip of my words. This fear is due to my mind feeling very foggy. It's like I'm not all here. I also had a weird eye twitch a couple days ago. As someone with Anxiety, I've never felt that before (the fogginess and like I'm losing self-awareness). I went to the ER and he tested my grip, hand me push and pull and said I was very strong. He also took blood work and told me everything is healthy as can be. I'm wondering if there was something wrong with my head, would something show in the blood work? I don't know what I'm afraid of. My body just feels weak, but my anxiety has been heightened the last few months and I'm not currently on any medication. I'm running a 5K tomorrow, and I think I'm very worried of embarrassing myself. Well, not so much embarrassing myself, but falling to some sickness that I'm not aware of. ALS, Parkinsons and Schizophrenia are constantly on my mind. Should I see a neurologist or just relax and trust a doctor when they say it's anxiety?
