Question: My mother is displaying symptoms of an allergic reaction that seem to come and go. Hot flashes, tingling, swollen lips, eye irritation and a weakness and tingling in her arms and legs. We went to Dr. Antishestimine level was high,she is feeling a heaviness on the left side of her chest experiences chills and a rapid heart rate.

Cortisol injection can cause allergic reactions.
But her chest symptoms, Heaviness in chest, rapid heart rate, chest pain etc should be evaluated for heart diseases.

So I'd suggest getting done ECG, 2D echo and stress test.
If all these are normal then no need to worry about heart diseases.

You can give her montelukast (anti allergic).
Dose of montelukast is 10 mg once daily at night. Give her for 10 days and see for improvement.
