What Causes Tingling Throughout Body, Chest Pain And Headaches 8 Months Postpartum?
Question: Hi, i am 8 months postpartum. I had a very difficult delivery had to have two blood transfusion, I almost died. At around 5 months postpartum i noticed tingling in my hands and feet, The tingling progressed to my entire body tingling even the top of my head. I have also experienced shortness of breath, chest pain, headaches, sore throats, scratchy throat, difficulty swallowing and now my tongue looks like i have Geographic Tongue. I went to my GP at around 6 months postpartum. he did blood work and everything came back normal. He sugguested that i was stressed with the new baby, nursing dealing with the difficult delivery... I had a nerve study done as well because i continued to call about the tingling. that came back normal too. I am now 8 months postpartum and i don't feel any better. I am so afraid that there is something wrong with me and now i am afraid to go back to the doctor because he doesnt seem to think somehting is wrong with me. could this be HIV?
