What Causes Tinnitus, Hearing Loss And Dizziness?

default
Posted on Thu, 8 Jan 2015
Question: I have had a tinnitus sound in my ear for about a year and a half now. I went and saw a ENT and wasn't really diagnosed with anything severe, ENT checked me out did a hearing test on, My Right ear was slightly off but not bad, said my ear is red, told me to take lipoflavonoids for the ringing to come back after a year, so basically through this whole year I've been going through ear popping when blowing my nose, Sinuses on right side of my nose clogged, and the awful ringing in the ear, I did also have one episode of vertigo, but I am not sure if it was from a dirty plunger that I had used to flush my ear out at the time.

Now my ear is bleeding and I feel pain in my ear if I try to clean it out. Is this possibly cancer? or Cyst? Meniere's Disease?

Brief Answer:
needs evaluation.

Detailed Answer:
Hi, thanks for your query.
You have many problems relating to ear but all are different entity.
Tinnitus, hearing loss , dizziness are features of meneire's disease.

Ear trauma while cleaning the ear leading to bleeding from ears are a different entity, can be treated with antibiotics ear drops +anti inflammatory medicines like paracetamol + diclofenac combination drugs.

Sinusitis causing ear blockage is another different entity, which can be treated with antihistamines + decongestant tablet, steam inhalation and valsalva exercises.

I would suggest you to consult with the doctor and get evaluated properly and get treated. Clinical examination is necessary to provide good relief.

Hope my answers have helped you. Thanks.
