What Causes Tiredness And Cold Sweat?
Question: Mother is visiting. Suddenly she broke out in cold sweat and is tired. Been 15 minutes. Still clamy. Weak.

Regarding your concern, I would explain that her symptoms could be related to low blood pressure or low blood sugar.
Do you have a blood pressure machine?
If she suffers from diabetes, hypoglycemia (low blood sugar) could be the post probable cause. In such case, I would recommend giving her some sugar (you can melt a spoon of sugar in half glass of water).
If her symptoms are not improved by sugar, I would recommend bringing her to the ER, to investigate for the possible causes. Some tests would be needed besides a physical exam:
- a resting ECG to exclude cardiac arrhythmia or ischemia
- complete blood count
- fasting glucose
- blood electrolytes
- kidney and liver function tests.
