What Causes Twitching Sensation In The Upper Left Chest Area?
I am having a lot of twitching in upper left chest it happens same place there is no pain. I am a anxiety patient but that is under control.
twitching is usually due to muscle spasms
Detailed Answer:
hello and thanks for your comments.
Twitching is most often due to muscle spasms. There are many causes of muscle spasms but mild dehydration, toxins and inadequate vitamins and minerals are the most common causes.
First, make sure you are well hydrated by drinking plenty of water and avoiding things that can cause dehydration like coffee, tea, sodas and alcohol.
Second add a daily multivitamin, multimineral.
Nest do some stretching exercises to stretch out the muscles in your chest wall.
Get some aerobic exercise dialy, even if just walking for 30 minutes daily.
At your age and with this complaint it does not sound like this is a problem with your heart. It sounds like a problem with the chest wall muscles.

I get this twitching regularly it happens left chest top it gets me worried
understand but not likely your heart
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
I understand the concern but chest discomfort from your heart does not really feel like twitching. Most often the concerning type of chest pain feels like pressure and is accompanied by shortness of breath, sweating and radiation of the pain down the arm or into the neck. It is most often triggered by exercise and only lasts for a few minutes then resolves with rest. Again, heart disease is very unlikely at your age. If you try the above suggestions and still have the twitching see your doctor for an exam and blood tests.
