What Causes Unilateral Numbness In The Face, Arm And Hand?
Along with a headache on the right side of his head. Lasting for a few days. We had gone to the ER and car scans and X-rays were done. He was released and given a neuro surgeon to see. Diagnosing compression in neck. Thinking he would need physical therapy or possibly surgery.
Today we saw the neuro surgeon, XXXXXXX will need to have an MRI, and angioplasty to check for brain aneurism potentially?
OK, now, I just got home from work, he is complaining of numbness in cheek area that spread from right side to left, left harm soreness and pain, as well as ache/pain in his outer left leg.
Thoughts on what is going on????
Thank you, XXXX

Get examined again and investigated
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
I have gone through your question and understand your concerns.
Unilateral symptoms are due to some local pathology or brain or spine lesions but bilateral symptoms may be due to nerve involvement or stress related.
Is there any thinning of limbs, sensation loss, weakness in limbs?
Any neck pain, back pain, urinary complains?
Any seizures, loss of consciousness, vomiting?
In view of associated headache, brain imaging may be required but it's hard to explain symptoms in lower limbs on left side.
You should get him examined by treating neurologist again with these new symptoms and then go ahead with investigation.
Hope you found the answer helpful.
