Detailed Answer:
Dear XXXX, Hi
Good evening.
I can understand your concern for your beloved father.
After having gone through the uploaded picture it seems to me he has developed a skin condition called mole or naevus. These are due overproduction of the dark pigment (melanin) by melanocytes. This is a benign (harmless) condition of the skin.
Hope this answers your query.
However I shall be glad to answer any follow up query.
Best regards.

They need to be observed.
Detailed Answer:
Dear XXXX, Hi
Good morning.
Thanks for your reply & the compliment.
These moles are usually benign (harmless).
They can be removed for cosmetic reasons if they are raised or if irritated by hair brushing.
In some cases they can become cancerous causing malignant melanoma.
For this reason, your father needs to monitored and examined by a dermatologist if the moles
1. Get larger suddenly
2. Develop an irregular border
3. Become darker or inflamed or painful
4. Show spotty color changes
5. Begin to bleed, crack or itch
Hope this answers your query.
Best regards.
