Brief Answer:
I suggest possibility of discoid dermatitis
Detailed Answer:
Hello. Thank you for writing to us
I have gone through the query and i have also reviewed images.
I can see dry scaly patches of skin.
I suggest a possibility of dry discoid dermatitis. This is due to underlying dryness of skin
This is certainly not due to an insect bite.
I suggest you to use a moisturizer for her, all over, twice daily.
Specifically for the patches you may use a moderately potent topical steroid e.g fluticasone propionate 0.05% cream, twice daily, over and above the moisturizer.
Avoid soaps for her. You may use a gentle cleansing lotion e.g cetaphil cleansing lotion.
Regards
