What Causes Unusual Vaginal Bleeding After Taking An I-pill?
Question: hi,
I took an emergency contraceptive pill yesterday. since it was my first intercourse, there was some bleeding prior to taking the pill. But even now I am bleeding, though very little. My period is due in 6 days. I want to know if the bleeding is due to breaking of my hymen or due to my periods? I do feel the body ache n cramps like I do during my periods. please help.

I have another concern, there was only penetration & no secretion inside my vagina. There was no bleeding on the spot but the morning after, I bled heavily during urination. After that the bleeding is minimal but present.
Also, I took the pill within 15 hours.
I want to understand the risks if there are any & also the reason why I bled in the morning but not during penetration.

The bleeding in the morning can be due to trauma occur during sexual intercourse.
If bleeding occur after taking I-Pill than it can be a side effect of I-pill.
It will resolve in few days, if persist than consult a gynaecologist for the same.
As you had I-Pill with in time there is less chances of pregnancy.
