Brief Answer:
Could be due to narrowingg of Urethra(Stricture Urethra)

Detailed Answer:
Hello
Thanks for your query ,based on the facts that you have posted it appears that you have undergone surgery of TURP in July and now has difficulty inpassing urine and frequency for urination with poor stream .

This is mostly due to narrowing of urethra (Stricture of Urethra )

This is known complication of this surgery aand happens due to injury to urethra due to instrumentation .

Please consult your Urologist who has performed surgery earlier and get following tests done to confirm the diagnosis .
1) Urine routine and culture
2) Retrograde Cystourethrogram
3) Uroflowmetry.

He may need endoscopic incision of stricture (VIU).

Hope I have answered your query ,please feel free to ask if you have more questions ,I shall be happy to help you
Thanks and Regards.

the Dr that did the TURP seemed very unconcerned when he started having problems a month or so after surgery. So, I think we will find a new Urologist to consult with to try to get this corrected. Thanks for your input.
