What Causes Vaginal Bleeding During Ovulation?
Detailed below.
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for writing to us.
I will be able to comment better if you can furnish me details of your past menstrual history like the frequency and the duration of your cycles, if you had any other medication during your last cycle and any other significant information.
As per the information provided now, I should say that this sort of inter-menstrual bleeding cannot be considered normal unless it is an ovulation bleed. This cannot be related to your tubal problem. If this bleeding coincides with your ovulation, it may be considered to be due to ovulation and moreover as it has spontaneously subsided.
If this bleeding is related to an intercourse or not corresponding to ovulation, you need further investigation. You need a local exam by a gynecologist to exclude causes like vaginitis, cervicitis, erosions and polyps. A vaginal swab, pap smear, trans-vaginal sonogram, urinalysis and blood counts are also necessary.
Ovulation bleed needs no further management while bleeding due to other causes needs appropriate treatment.
Hope your query has been clarified. Please feel free to contact for further clarifications. I will be happy to help.
regards,
