What Causes Vaginal Infection?
Non responsive to Flagyl, no itching or irritation.
Get a vaginal swab and culture done.
Detailed Answer:
Hello
Thanks for writing to us with your health concern.
It is possible that this is bacterial vaginosis.
SOmetimes it is resistant to Flagyl orally and needs local clindamycin too to treat it completely.
Again, it could be a mixed infection or a totally different infection also ( some other organism ).
There is no itching or irritation, so it is just possible that you are just having an increased normal vaginal discharge, without a component of infection in it.
You would know for sure only after having a vaginal swab and culture done.
Plus a per vaginum and per speculum exam.
Please get that done.
The swab and culture will identify the exact organism to be treated.
All the best
