What Causes Visible Long Green Veins On Legs?
Question: Green long veins have started showing on my legs. From ankles to calves and also up my shins. Also small bumps, like mosquito bites on my shins,. I'm 52 years old,49kgs and always been exercising. Have stopped. Since a year due to knee pain. My legs are rather skinny. Will running help?

They are varicose veins.
You should consult a vascular surgeon and get an Colour doppler of the affected limb.
Good results are with Laser therapy.
Running won't help.
The valves inside the veins are non functional and so the blood can't flow up.
These occur mostly in the superficial veins and also connecting veins called perforators.
Laser will ablate the vein.
As deep veins are functional, there will be no problem.
