Not likely to be blood.
Detailed Answer:
Hello
Thanks for writing to us with your health concern.
It is most likely not blood, because you had black grapes and then watermelon, and most probably that is what was vomited out.
Also, you have never earlier had such dark red vomiting , have you ?
Was this the first time ?
Then relax, it must be due to the grapes.
As discussed earlier , this condition is called gastritis.
It is due to excessive acidity in the stomach caused due to the pregnancy hormones.
It will help you to start an antacid.
Take Pantop - D before meals twice a day for a week and see the difference.
Have a glass of chilled milk at night.
Some fruits also are acidic and they can increase this condition - grapes are known for it.
Try and have soothing fruits - papapa, musk melon, banana etc.
If this gastritis and discomfort is intolerable, you can consult a Gastroenterologist who will further evaluate you.
In my opinion, this is normal and very common during pregnancy , and most women face such a situation.
Simple home remedies which I detailed in my last post will surely help you.
Take care.
