Question: Had a bad attack vomiting diarrhhea extreme pain -ended up in emergency - 2 weeks after gall operation Seemed like gall attack. Even had violent shivering. Some sort of virus/bug or passing so stone

Brief Answer: Infection more likely... Detailed Answer: Hi, From what I understand you developed vomiting, diarrhea, shivering and abdominal pain 2 weeks after gall bladder surgery (removal). Since you described it as very bad vomiting and diarrhea, infection seems more likely to me. Abdominal fullness, nausea and increased bowel movements are the common symptoms experienced with gall bladder removal. Hence I will look at infection (viral bug) first. I hope you are started on fluid replacements and antiemetic medications. Stool tests and blood test can help us isolate bacterial/parasitic infections (if any). Hope this answers your query.
