Brief Answer:
poor diet resulting in nutritional deficiencies

Detailed Answer:
Hi there.

Thanks for writing in.

It is very important to have well balanced meals. From your present diet , you could be deficient in Vitamin B12, Vitamin D, proteins etc.

No doubt Oats is a wonderful cereal, but you also need your share of proteins, fats, vitamins and minerals. This might be the cause of your tiredness and weakness in the legs.

Drink 8-10 glasses of water a day. Dehydration is another cause of weakness and tiredness.

Do have plenty of fresh fruits and vegetables.Include pulses like dal, beans, chicken ,peas, sprouts ,eggs etc in your diet.

Visit a dietitian and get a diet chart made for you.

Do consider signing up for yoga classes , after consulting your treating physician.Yoga is good for the mind and body. Deep breathing exercise also help in relaxation and reduces chronic pain in the long run.

For the tiredness and weakness in your legs, I would also advise you to get certain investigations done, eg. Hemoglobin, TSH, Vitamin B12, Vitamin D, electrolytes, serum calcium, blood sugar levels. Also get your blood pressure checked.

Anaemia, thyroid disorders, hypoglycemia or hyperglycemia, low blood pressure/high blood pressure, Vitamin B12 deficiency, Vitamin D deficiency can cause symptoms similar to what you are experiencing. So , would be a good idea to get the investigations done and rule out the medical conditions.

Hope my answer was helpful to you.

Wishing you a speedy recovery.

Take care :)
