What Causes Weakness In Legs While Walking And Left Hip Pain?

Posted on Mon, 1 Aug 2016
Question: I have been recovering from two fractured discs and having physio. My right leg was very weak and I had been making a good recovery and was able to walk unaided. After a physio. Session I have had trouble with my left leg and am using my walker again. They had me doing exercises last session on my back doing a tilt with my hip. And drawing bottom muscles in. It has now been three weeks now and no improvement. Not a lot of pain but can not understand left hip and leg which originally no problem.

Brief Answer:
Hello. I understand your concern here

Detailed Answer:
At this point, you need to revisit your doctor and I would stop the physiotherapy for the time being if you were my patient.

Rest may be all you need for now but the disc problem may have worsened and, if so, you may need surgery for it.

Let me know if you need any more information please XXXX
