What Causes Weakness Of The Right Leg 3 Years Post An ACL Reconstruction Surgery?
Question: Hello doctor,
It has almost been 3 years now since my ACL reconstruction surgery in right knee and i still dont feel completely fit. Can I still recover completely by proper workout?
I feel that my right leg is weak and it does not have either the strength or agility as that of my left leg. My right leg does not even have complete flexibility and physiotherapist say that some 5 degree flex is left which is fine. Can i completely recover?
Thanks,

Brief Answer:
Graft loosening probably
Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXXXXX
Thanks for the query
It is possible that your graft may have become loose.
You can get an MRI scan of the knee right away to confirm.
Physiotherapy in the form of Quadriceps strengthening must continue.
Wear a brace if your feel instability.
I hope I have answered your query.
I will be available to answer your follow up queries.
