What Causes Whitish Vaginal Discharge During Pregnancy?
Question: Hi, I just found out I'm over 3 weeks pregnant, last night I felt a white/greyish clot pass, I haven't had any bleeding or server cramps. What could this be?
Brief Answer:
Difficult to tell but not related to pregnancy!
Detailed Answer:
Hi and thank you so much for this query.
I understand your concerns about this clot. However, it is unlikely to be related to the pregnancy because there is no significant blood loss , cramps or pain which is the main sign of pregnancy loss. The fainter line is no support for a possible pregnancy loss. Did you do this test with an overnight urine sample as this is the best recommended sample?
I hope this helps. I Wish you well. Thanks for using our services and feel free to ask for more questions and clarifications if need be.

No test i did today was just what I did normally. I've been looking it up and could it not be the gestational sac at all?? That's my may concern
Brief Answer:
Unlikely to be the gestational sac!
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
It is highly unlikely to be the gestational sac. If it were the sac, this would be accompanied and followed by a vaginal bleeding as the uterine lining sheds off. This is simply not what we are dealing with at this time. All I recommend is to monitor and stay positive. There is no need to panic at this time.
I wish you well and keep me updated.
