Brief Answer:
you are not pregant

Detailed Answer:
Hello.
Thanks for the query to HCM,
The bleeding that you are experiencing is a withdrawal bleed following ecp and due to high progesterone effect the bleeding presently is light which is normal to experience. If you would have been pregnant then there would have been no bleeding at all and progesterone pill would have further helped in supporting the pregnancy, so indirectly as you have bled now, you are not pregnant.

Hi again doctor,
May I ask what you meant by "no blooding at all when you have been pregnant"? Because according to all the research I have done, it says that you will still bleed regardless. May I also ask what is the real meaning of implantation bleeding? And the situation that I'm currently at, it could also be due to implantation bleeding right? Also, how long does the side effect on ecp last? Lastly, I'm finding it weird that my bleeding stop today? Is it normal to have that? Hope to get a reply as soon as possible

Thanks!

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
During pregnancy, the progesterone levels tend to increase supporting the pregnancy and as ECP is a high dose progesterone, it would have further added on to the natural progesterone and further supported continuation of pregnancy and not caused any bleeding at all. Bleeding is du to endometrial shedding or due to threatened miscarriage once pregnancy is confirmed.
Implantation bleed occurs in next 4-5 days after the intercourse and not after 2 weeks, so this is not implantation .
Thirdly the bleeding is less because you had a hormonal pill and that does tend to reduce the flow of menses during the withdrawal and this pattern may last for 1-2 cycles , this is a known effect of ecp.

Hello again,

I just wanna ask about the brown discharge that I have right now . It used to be dark brown , but then it fades to brown on the 4th-5th day . Is that the side effect of ECP as well ?

Detailed Answer:
Yes , the discharge is likely to be brownish and then shall reduce itself by 4th-5th day. It is expected in case of ECP intake, so need not worry.
