Hello
Welcome to Health care magic
Iam Dr. DADAPEER K, an ophthalmologist and I answer health problems related to eye.
It seems from the history that contact lens got stuck in the lower eye lid and stayed there for about 10 hours before you removed it and it was covered with light yellow stuff.
The contact lens retained in the conjunctiva under the lower eye lid had caused injury to the conjunctiva or irritation of the conjunctiva resulting in yellow mucosal discharge as indicated by the yellow stuff on the contact lens.
However no need to worry as you have got the contact lens removed. The conjunctival irritation can be effectively treated by the use of antibiotic eye drops. Broad spectrum antibioitc eye drops like moxifloxacin can be used to treat this conjunctival irritation or infection.
But you should avoid the use of contact lenses if you have symptoms like discharge, redness, pain of the involved eye.
If there are no symptoms as mentioned above then no need to worry and you can continue to use the contact lenses.
Hope I have answered your question and the information is helpful to you.
