Question : About two days ago I had a sudden onset of abdominal discomfort when I took deep breaths....I have never had anything like this before and at first I figured it was from eating something but after two days and no sign of it going away I was curious of what would cause something like that.

I had eaten a red hot dog made by Kayem. A couple hours later when I took a deep breath my abdomen hurt ... when I sit still I don't feel any pain...when I breath normal I don't feel any discomfort....it's not until I take a deep breath and it hurts from the waist line across the mid section to the other side. I don't feel distended and I have had a few bowel movements....the color of the BM is a light XXXXXXX color. There also appeared to be undigested food I had eaten earlier so I figured that everything was moving out and I just don't understand why I would still have these symtoms two days after I ate that hot dog.

                                    Brief Answer:
Mild gastritis seems likely.
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Along with indigestion you have mild gastritis, so symptoms have persisted. This resolves mostly on its own.
Few things that can help are simple non spicy food, rest, adequate water, no tea/coffee in excess, no artificial drinks and mild oral antacids to protect gastric mucosa.
Hope this helps. Please ask if there are doubts.Regards.
