What Day Of Menstruation Cycle Is Duphaston Safe To Take?
Question: My periods came on 15th aug 2017. I am scheduled for FET in sept. Doc suggested to take duphaston 10mg twice a day for 5 days. What day of cycle should i start taking it? I also had endometrial scratch on day 11 which caused bleeding for 2 day.
Brief Answer:
Confirm with your doctor
Detailed Answer:
Hi dear,
I have gone through your question and understand the concerns.
The timing of Duphastone depends upon your scheduled date of embryo transfer.
The duphastone should be taken for 5 days following which the periods will occur.
The embryo transfer is likely to be done on day 14 of the periods.
However, you should confirm the details with your treating doctor.
Hope you found the answer helpful.
