What Do FBS Sugar Level Of 85 And PPBS Level Of 81 During Pregnancy Indicate?

Question: My wife is 10 weeks pregnant with twins.Today we checked blood sugar level.FBS was 95, where as PPBS was 81.Is this normal?
Since we heard that it is unusual to have PPBS lower than FBS, we are a bit scared.
Please advise qnd thanks for the help.

Usually PPBS is more than FBS but it can be lower when you had medicine or insulin, not done after 2 hrs., not had proper meal, your glucometer reading is wrong ( not working properly) .
You can not believe on one time reading, so please repeat the test and done with lab also.

Kimdly note that we checked with 2labs on 2 days. PPBS was lower than FBS in both cases. Please advise if this indicates any serious issue.

Her PPBS is low than FBS due to rebound increase in insulin due to high sugar.
If her PPBS is not causing hypoglycemia than there is no need to worry.
She should take healthy and nutritious diet to maintain her sugar level.
