What Do Irregular Heartbeats Indicate?
Question: I have an an irregular heart beat and it is rather staccato
Brief Answer:
Need further evaluation
Detailed Answer:
Hello Sir,
After going through your medical history, I would like to tell you that having an irregular heart rate at this age group can be due to some cardiac arrhythmia which should be evaluated properly.
It's advisable to consult your cardiologist personally and get an ECG, Echocardiography, as well as a Holter monitoring done if the irregularity is happening transiently.
Also, some blood tests will also be needed--
1. Complete blood count
2. Serum electrolytes
3. Thyroid profile
4. HBA1c
I hope this information will answer your query
Let me know if I can assist you further
Kind Regards

I,m sorry,I thought that there was no response but now I have received it in the email. I gues that I just didn't know where to go to receive the answer.
Anyway, I am recovering from a long battle with Lyme Disease and now doing very well except that during the last months I've coughed up a lot of candida worms and have been having these irregular heartbeats from time to time.

Brief Answer:
follow-up consultation
Detailed Answer:
Hello again,
Thanks for the feedback.
The organism of Lyme disease is known to involve cardiac muscles sometimes thereby causing carditis.
Palpitations can also be a part of the disease process. Due to this, it's highly advisable to get an ECG at first and Echocardiography done to rule out any such event that's happening. Do let me know the results if you've already done them.
Kind regards
