Brief Answer:
Your child has mild condition which can be treated with medicine initially

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thanks for writing in.

I have read through your query in detail.
Please find my observations below.

1. Regularly I find features of sinusitis when looking at MRI scan of my patients. Rhinitis is a condition where there is inflammation of the mucosal alyer of nasal cavity. Sinusitis happens when this inflammation extends to the mucosal lining of the paranasal air sinuses which are air filled spaces around the nose on both sides.

2. Your daughter might have a mild sinusitis with fluid collection in maxxillary sinus on right side and that is causing the headaches. This should be initially treated with medicines after consulting ENT specialist doctor.

3. If the sinusitis is not responding to medicines then the ENT surgeon might think of treating it with minimally invasive endoscopic technique called FESS or Functional endoscopic sinus surgery.

Hope your query is answered.
