Question: What is a good normal BP for a 59 white make, non smoker, 157 lbs, 11% fat, LDL of 70 HDL of 58 total 160, vigorous exercise of 3hr to 4hrs a week, average resting pulse of 58 bpm ,excellent diet. Resting BP average is 128/77 to 130/79. I find when I take my BP the pulse is much higher than my normal pulse of 58. I think I have developed a bit of a phobia of taking my BP.

Brief Answer:
All labs clear and BP normal. No worries. Continue the exercise and diet

Detailed Answer:
Thank you for asking

I read your question and i understand your concern. Your vitals are amazingly remarkable for the age and ideal for age group. Your blood pressure is also in ideal range and nothing to worry about. Anything less than 140 systolic should be fine. More considerable is diastolic pressure which should be less than 100 all the times. Your sis way less than that and in normal range so no worries.

Nut shell, you have nothing to worry about and pulse is also in good range. Anxiety may cause this slight spike during checking the blood pressure also during checking blood pressure slight pulse increment is normal due to compression of blood vessels by the pressure cuff resulting in rebound increase of a few beats which is alright and not worrisome.

As far as Lipid profile and other investigations you provided are concerned those are as good as humanly possible and nothing to worry about. All i would want to say is keep it up and continue this exercise and lifestyle and diet preferences. You will be out of the woods.

I hope it helps. Take good care of yourself and dont forget to close the discussion please.

Khan
