The report says immature granulocyyes Abs should not be higher than 0.0300 and mine is at 0.0500 H. What does this mean and how does it relate to the other reading of 0.6 %?
Brief Answer:
Mildly elevated immature granulocyte is not of much consequence.
Detailed Answer:
Hello and welcome again,
The immature granulocytes are mildly increased, however, it is not abnormal.
Is there history of infection in recent past.
Infections especially bacterial infections lead to increase in immature granulocytes.
As the infection subsides, the number of immature granulocytes decrases slowly.
This mild elevation could be due to a previous bacterial infection.
Thanks and take care
