What Do My Lab Test Reports Indicate?

Now my questions are:
1.my creatinine level was 0.9 in one lab and 1.1 in another lab in 2014.in 2015 the last lab has reported this level as 1.Is it normal in my age? My height is 5'9" and weight is 79kg.
2.My Albumine Creatinie ratio was 4.67 in 2014 but it has been reported as 14.8 in the year 2015.why such enhancement occurs?
3.does it Indicate a initiation of Kidney Disease? my blood pressure always remains 140/80.
4.What precautions are to be taken for preventing such enhancement?
I consulted my urologist but he didn't pay any importance to it.
dont worry your kidneys are normally working
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
1. for your age and status any creatinine below 1.2mg/dl is normal. there will always be some variation in the reports as you have seen. If creatinine progressively rises then it is a concern.
2. albumin/ creatinine ration - both readings are normal. see carefully the units are microgram/mg. in this unit normal range will be till 20 to 30. but a rising trend should be monitored. better BP control closer to 130/80 and decrease salt and non veg in diet will help.
3. at present no signs of kidney disease. but high BP patients can develop kidney disease in 10% patients after 10 years of high BP. so we need to monitor maybe 3 monthly.
4. already explained
these problems are best tackled by a nephrologist or an internal medicine doctor.
overall, i will agree with your urologist, not to worry.
best wishes
