What Do My Lab Test Reports Indicate?
![default](/r/images/default.png)
Question: Hi attached are the reports of PET and biopsy. Can you please suggest about the report and further treatment.
Brief Answer:
it looks like Ewing sarcoma
Detailed Answer:
Hi
Thanks for follow up.
The biopsy appears to be Ewing sarcoma, a cancer arising from bones or soft tissues. It is the same which I thought at the beginning.
Unfortunately it has spread to the other bones. So results of treatment are not that encouraging. But still, some patients can be cured. We need to administer 3-4 cycles chemo followed by another PET scan. If the other bone lesions are clear then surgery for lung tumor, radiotherapy and more chemo.
Hope this helps.

Thank you. The doctor we have consulted is of the opinion that the biopsy report is not sufficient to start the treatment since it is still not clear which type of cancer this is and jas thereby suggested further analysis (immunohistochemistry). Can you please advise.
Brief Answer:
yes that should be done
Detailed Answer:
No harm in doing that but most likely it will show ewing sarcoma.
