well it s good that the reports are normal. you can be happy about it. little bit of esophageal inflammation is there.. You can take the medications they have advised..And yeah avoid any pain killers. also avoid spicy food and hot liquids like tea coffee for a while. it will heal itself....

Brief Answer:
Analgesics

Detailed Answer:
Good evening

Well, the safest bet is Paracetamol 650 mg or Tylenol...This two dont harm the stomach/oesophagus too much and wont increase the inflammation. But take it with PPI only. Even the COX 2 inhibitors like Celecoxib are known to be stomach friendly as compared to diclofenac group but firsts line should be paracetamol or tylenol

Hope the information was useful

Brief Answer:
Bronchitis

Detailed Answer:
Good evening

Well, yes lot of people use short course of steroids for allergic bronchitis. It is a common seasonal problem especially in people with sensitive lungs. Make sure you talk to your doctor and get yourself vaccinated against common bacterial and viral infections( Pneumovac and Influenza).

I hope you are off steroids now and doing well with the lungs part.

Get back to me if you have further query.

Is it common to possibly have have and then diagnosed me with bronchitisDeveloped asthma over the years
doctor
Answered by Dr. Naval Mendiratta (15 hours later)
Brief Answer:
ASthma vs bronchits

Detailed Answer:
Good evening

Well, for asthma....We will have to observe over time...If it was just a single episode, it may have been bronchitis as it does get aggravated during winters following an infection.

If you continue to experience such flares, there is a possibility of asthma developing. But for now we can wait and see

Well, it doesnt look like an ER thing. But you need to meet your GP. Let him examine you and see if you need a course of antibiotics. Looks like some bacterial infection

Brief Answer:
Biopsy report

Detailed Answer:
Good evening

Well, your test results are completely normal. They have done the biopsy from the stomach which is in normal limits. I am not sure if they did the oesophagus biopsy as well. Never the less, we can treat you for a few days and see for improvement
