What Do My Lab Test Reports Indicate?

Fatty Liver and biochemical abnormality on regular health check-up
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thank you for your query. I can understand your concerns.
I have gone through your reports.Your serum uric acid level (8.6 mg%)is high.
Your serum triglycerides(193 mg%) and LDL cholesterol (153 mg%) are also high. Your USG abdomen shows evidence of fatty liver. It may be due to hyperlipidemia. There is also mild rise of SGPT (116 IU/L)-may be due to some degree of steatohepatitis.
You have leg pains but you have not mentioned about any joint pain.
For high serum uric acid (SUA) certain dietary modification is needed.
Avoid foods rich in purines such as offal (liver, pancreas, testes) , red meat, some fish and shellfish, also vegetables such as lentils, spinach.
Milk & milk products, Vit C and Coffee (not more than 4 cups/day)reduces SUA. You can also take tablet Febuxostat 40 mg once a day till SUA below 6 mg%.
For hyperlipidemia also certain dietary modification is needed. Avoid ghee, cheese, butter, egg yolk and red meat. This will also help you to reduce body weight and regress fatty changes in liver.
For high triglycerides(TG) standard treatment is tablet Fenofibrate 160 mg daily and for high LDL cholesterol level tablet atorvastatin 10-20 mg daily- at least for 3 months .Serum TG should be brought down below 150 mg% and serum LDL cholesterol below 100 mg%.
These are all prescription drugs. You need to consult your physician for that.
Please feel free to ask for any further clarification.

Detailed Answer:
You can take lemon juice and rice and paneer (milk product helps reduce SUA).
Febuxostat is approved by Food and Drug Administration (FDA or USFDA) at 40 or 80 mg once a day. Since serum uric acid level is below 10 mg/dL , 40 mg once a day will suffice.
The serum uric acid should be measured every 06 weeks .
Fenofibrate should be taken for 3 months.Evaluate serum lipids periodically (eg, 4 to 8 wk) during initial therapy.
