default
Posted on Wed, 15 Jun 2016
Question: Hi Dr XXXXXXX
I had done a preventive health checkup last week.
The reports I have uploaded to HCM.
You have reviewd it and recommended ultrasound of abdoment due to high ALP & elevated Serum amylase.
I have done that and uploaded the report.
Could you please review it and let me know if everything is fine?

Note: I have uploaded the health checkup reports as well.

Thanks,
XXXX

Brief Answer:
I am not concerned with your results.

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

I have gone through your ultrasound scan. It doesn't not show any serious concern.
Grade 1 fatty liver is a condition where there are some fatty deposits in the liver. This may be secondary to over weight; diet factors and life style. It will remain harmless as long as you keep weight under control and practice good diet and life style measures.

Since there are no other structural changes in your scan, let us repeat your complete blood count, liver function tests, ALP, amylase as well as thyroid function test after 2 months. You should also check vitamin b12 which has been missed.

If the reports continue to remain deranged, please visit a physician for further evaluation and treatment.
