Question: Hi,
I want to ask question regarding my brother.
he went to blood donation camp where he was detected as heapetitise b reactive in his body.
he went for the checkup and reports are as attached.need consultation regarding the treatment.

Your brother is positive for Hepatitis B. He is harbouring the Hepatitis B virus.
The liver function test is normal and the ultrasound scan says the liver and other organs are normal. These indicate that the infection might not have caused any serious damage till now.

Few more tests are to be done to decide the further course of action.
The following tests are to be done.

1. AntiHBc-IgM
2. AntiHBc - Total
3. HBV DNA quantitative
