What Do My Lab Test Results Indicate?

My tests reveal a levoconvex curvature of the lumber spine is present. Degenerative decrease in height of the intervertebral disc is seen from the L2 through S1 levels inclusively. Grade-1 spondylolisthesis of L4 on L5 is present on a degenerative basis. Articular facet arthritis is located at the L5-S1 levels inclusively. Vascular sclerosis is present in the abdominal aorta. Moderate to severe left hip osteoarthritis exists. Artherosclerotic calcification is present in the abdominal aorta and the iliac arteries. What is the prognosis for these discoveries? Is there any facilities that specialize in these diagnoses? What type of therapy and treatment might be recommended? How long do you think it will take to get in recover and heal from these ailments? What specialty should I make an appointment with for a consultation? Is there any facility that is known for successfully treating my problems? I should be able to obtain my reports and images on Monday or Tuesday next week. If you have any questions or would like to see my reports, please contact me at YYYY@YYYY .

Detailed Answer:
I read your question carefully and I understand your concern.
The first part report speaks of degenerative arthritic changes of the spine and the hip. I will try to address all your questions.
The prognosis for these issues in terms of life threat is good, they do not represent any danger, but they are chronic in natyre and do cause pain and movement limitation.
Both are very common especially as the years go on so most physicians have experience with them. The most appropriate specialist to deal with these issues would be a rheumatologist.
Any facility with a rheumatology division is appropriate since as I said very common, but if you want a name of a facility in your area perhaps the XXXXXXX Hospitals would be such facilities, such as Beumont XXXXXXX rheumatologists or XXXXXXX Medical Center in XXXXXXX Hills for physical therapy (as your IP shows you from XXXXXXX Michigan).
The best way of management usually is physical therapy. Chiropractics is not an approved medical specialty, not exercised by medical professionals so few studies. There is some indication it might help for back pain but very little. Only physical therapy has shown by studies to provide benefit. Anti-inflammatory medication like Motrin may be used for pain, corticosteroids may be used at times as anti-inflammatory, orally or as local injections when there is a specific area to address. In severe hip arthritis with intense pain and limitation of movement surgery for hip replacement may be considered.
As for your question on how long will it take to recover and heal, you must first understand that this is a chronic issue which has built over the course of life. Such changes happen to all individuals with age due to the wear and tear on the spine and joints, in some are more pronounced then in others. So one can not speak of healing, these changes are to remain. The aim of the therapy is to slow their progression, reinforce core muscles in order to lower the load on the spine and reduce pain and inflammation.
The other part of the report speaks of atherosclerotic changes of your aorta and iliac arteries. For these it is necessary to check for vascular risk factors such as high blood pressure, diabetes, smoking high cholesterol and address them when present. It has no relation to your pain, but should be checked for the above with primary physician.
I remain at your disposal for other questions.
