What Do My Stem Cell Test Results Indicate?

Question: My wife delivered a baby girl last year on XXXXXXX 29, 2015 and we opted for stem cell banking during the birth. As part of stem cell banking, the organization has conducted certain tests on maternal blood and following is the result:
Anti-HBC - Reactive
Anti-HCV - Non Reactive
Anti-HTLV I & II - Non Reactive
HBsAg - Non Reactive
Recently one of her maternal uncles passed away due to chronic liver cirrhosis. Since she got Reactive for Anit-HBC, we are concerned if she may develop hepatitis B. Could you please advise if the above result is normal? If not, could you please advise next steps?

Brief Answer:
Consult Gastroenterologist.
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Did your wife had Hepatitis B vaccination earlier?
The Anti HBC (core Hep B antibody) is reactive and HBsAg was non reactive. It leaves the following
three possibilities:
1. Resolved infection (most common)
2. False-positive anti-HBc, thus susceptible for Hepatitis B in future
3. “Low level” chronic infection
So it is not clear what stage of infection she is got. I suggest you to meet a Gastroenterologist for further testing.
