Question: I have nodules in my sides between hip and ribs and on my left upper and lower quadrent, also my right upper quadrent, and I have been getting pain under my right side rib in the back...what can it be because I have been feeling really sick
Brief Answer:
could be lipoma or sebaceous cyst
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thanks for writing to HCM.
Those nodules could be lipomas or sebaceous cyst. But that needs a clinical examination by a physician for confirmation.
Regarding the pain, that area where you are getting the pain is the kidney area, so that can be may be due to a stone. And for this you need to get an ultrasound of your abdomen for confirmation. As further management will depend upon that report.
Hope, i have been helpful.
