What Do Pregnancy Symptoms After Tubal Ligation Indicate?
Question: okay I had my tubes tied 3 and half months ago after having baby.after my periods came like clockwork that following August and September.This month I noticed I've been having sore nipples for the past week and half,lots of clear discharge,period late two days,and a weird tugging feeling in left side of abdomen today.I know it's almost impossible for me to be pregnant but I'm just feeling weird and never felt this way before my last two perjods

Tubal ligation is extremely effective in preventing pregnancy, but one in about 8-10,000 women will get pregnant in spite of sterilization. Unfortunately, if that does happen, it is important to seek medical care right away, especially if you have pain on one side, because this can be a symptom of a tubal or ectopic pregnancy.
So I encourage you to purchase and perform an over-the-counter pregnancy test and perform it with your first morning urine. Modern pregnancy tests are extremely accurate, and if you are not pregnant, I am sure your symptoms will resolve once you get your period.
However, if you do find out you are pregnant, it is urgent to be evaluated by a doctor to perform an ultrasound and check your hormone levels to rule out a tubal pregnancy.
