What Do Prolonged Bleeding With Cramps And Backache Post Miscarriage Indicate?
![default](/r/images/default.png)
Question: I had a miscarriage 4 weeks ago at 10 weeks pregnant. I'm still bleeding very heavily have moderate cramps and backache and feel very weak. I've also fainted several times. My Doctor prescribed tranexamic acid and mefenamic acid 10 days ago and when that wasn't working after a week prescribed norethisterone which I've been taking for 4 days. None of this has worked and I'm still bleeding just as heavily. Do I just have to be patient and wait a bit longer for things to settle or is there anything else I should do?
Many thanks

Brief Answer:
Ultrasound advised
Detailed Answer:
Hello Mam, thanks for trusting health care magic.
In my opinion you need to get an ultrasound at the earliest as in my opinion there are retained products inside your uterus which are causing this.
Get the report and then we can discuss further
