Question: Hi Doctor, I think I have a serious problem. Four weeks ago I had unprotected sex with a sex worker. My penis is red and itchy since the incident. No discharge of any sort or burning when urinating. White like substance and a dry head which I just washed when I shower. However tonight I noticed a drop of blood seeping from the skin of my penis head.( no noticeable cut?) I am visiting a GP tomorrow but I'm very worried. Please help!

Brief Answer:
no need to panic

Detailed Answer:
Hi and welcome.
First there is no need to be worried. To have unprotected sex was a mistake but it can't be changed now. Symptoms that you are describing are not very specific and it still may not be sign of std. It can be sign of allergy reaction, irritation or local skin infection.however std testing must be done even if there is no discharge. It is easily treatable today with antibiotics so just do necessary tests and everything will be fine.wish you good health.regards
