What Do Swollen Spots Under The Eye With Blisters Suggest?
Question: I woke up with swollen spots under my eye...they look like cluster of small blister with small red dots. Next day small cluster of reddish tiny blisters under other eye partially on nose. They burn and the skin below the eye is more swollen and the rashes or cluster of reddish blisters burn and itch and tingle. I put on soothing eye patches that usually turn my tired morning eyes(41yrold) into depuffed, bright skin, but nothing...didn't irritate area but didn't help puffy redness. I put cortisone cream and stopped pain for about 30 mins. I had this 4 2 days. Help.

Hi XXXXXXX
I understand your concern.
Can you please provide a photo of the swollen spots under your eye?
What outdoor activity have you run recently?
Do you have any other health problem?
Any other unreported symptom you might have?
From what you are describing, it might be an allergic reaction to any detergent or cosmetic product you might have used.
Another possible cause could be viral infection (e.g. herpes Zoster). Your overall health background is needed together with other symptoms you might have to determine it.
Looking forward to have the requested photo in!

Brief Answer:
Not very clear to see, following advice...
Detailed Answer:
Hi back XXXXXXX
Thank you for providing the photos. I was going through them and I was able to see only the red spots under your eyes.
I still think it might be due to:
- allergic reaction to any cosmetic product you have been tried recently
- or possible insect bite
I advise to:
- stop applying any cosmetic product locally (cream, powder, face cleansers, etc.)
- use hypoallergic soap to clean your face
- continue applying very small portion of cortisone cream locally at night for a few more days;
- avoid exposure to the sun
If no improvement within a few days, should consult further with dermatologist.
Hope it was of help!
