What Do Tender Breasts And Nipples Post Surgical Abortion Indicate?

Question: I had a surgical abortion two day ago. I was about 5wks pregnant.
After the procedure was done I didn't bleed much, just spotted a little. I haven't either bled or spotted since.
I've been having migraines, heartburn and nausea. Just small uterine contractions and little pain. My breasts feel full and nipples still tender.
I'm scared I could still be pregnant. Are these symptoms usual? Could I still be pregnant? How soon can I go for a check up to see everything is ok and if the pregnancy is gone? Can these be symptoms of something else, like infection? (I'm on antibiotics)
I'm 37yo, this would be my 4th pregnancy, no previous abortions, I suffer from migraines

Brief Answer:
Ultrasound needed to confirm
Detailed Answer:
Hello and welcome to health care magic forum. You can experience the above symptoms as only 2 days have past sunce your surgical abortion. The hormones usyually take about 5 to 7 days to settle down. You can ask your doctor for an ultrasound to confirm abortion which will show absence of gestational sac for successful abortion. Sometimes pregnancy can increase the frequency of migraine episodes. these will subside slowly . Regards Dr Manisha Jain
