Brief Answer:
Idiopathic guttate hypomelanosis most probably

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

I read history and saw the photos. After that I could conclude that most probably the marks on the legs may be idiopathic guttate hypomelanosis.

Kindly consult the dermatologist for the perfect diagnosis and proper treatment. IGH is a benign skin disease in which, melanin in the skin is reduced in spoty fashion. Exact cause is not known. The sun exposure may be the cause. Genetic influence may be there. The legs are involved generally more than the other areas. Reassurance is required. No treatment is required,as the disease is benign. However, cosmetic point of view,it may be treated.

Sunscreen lotion may be applied to protect skin from the U V rays of the sun. And tretinon, steroid, calcineurine inhibitors like tacrolimus or the pimecrolimus etc may be used topically.

Orally, vitamin A,E and C and antioxidants may be taken for the long time.

I hope this may be helpful to you.

Thanks.
